An ACCA (2009) qualified finance professional with significant Big 4 back round. The candidate has worked on various consulting projects and has been trained to maintain critical mindset at all times to identify potential issue / weakness and to recommend practical solutions, as far as possible. They have experience of dealing with different stakeholders in different projects and how to strike a balance between the conflicting demands of different stakeholders.
The candidate has strong analytic skills and can deduce conclusion from facts and figures and believes this is imperative to her role.
When she was with the big 4 firm, she was seconded for 2 months to a local insurance company to clean up / reconcile the errors occurred in the Account Receivable module arising from system migration. She was awarded the Key Portfolio Account award for successfully managing and completing the project within the given timeline and budget.
She also worked as a Pricing Analyst in for a large MNC were she was required to present business case with strong justifications to the top management in the United States and Singapore for competitive bids and to seek their approval on such bids. Working closely with the top management and the sales teams, they always strive to win competitive bids while optimizing the profit margin of the company.
She has worked on cross-border consulting projects in her days with (BIG 4) Tax. Since different teams from different countries were pulled together for the same project, she worked very closely with each other through regular communication and mutual respect to ensure that the deliverable was up to standard.
