• Execute sourcing and procurement activities by managing RFQs, negotiations, and purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
• Manage supplier relationships and contracts by drafting, negotiating, and overseeing agreements to ensure performance, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, efficiency, and value through building, local or global synergies, and market analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support procurement projects, align with business needs, and contribute to process improvements and digital transformation.
• Ensure procurement government and compliance by adhering to ethical standards, sustainability goals, and accurate reporting of procurement metrics.
• Supervise and support the general procurement team in Malaysia, serving as the first line escalation focal point for operational matters.
• Prepare procurement and performance reports for the Malaysia scope and represent the Regional Manager in local management meetings when required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Procurement.
• Excellent spoken and written in English.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, SAP, and Google Suite.
• Self-driven, proactive and results-oriented.
• Able to challenge the status quo and drive improvement
