Your new role
You will be reporting to the CEO. Your responsibilities will consist of:
- Sales Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
- Market Expansion:
- Leverage your extensive professional network in the Malaysian manufacturing space to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Drive market expansion initiatives, targeting key accounts and strategic partnerships.
- Industry Expertise:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Malaysian manufacturing and automation industry to position our products and services effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Strategic Relationships:
- Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the Malaysian market.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums in Kuala Lumpur.
- Sales Process Optimization:
- Streamline and systemise the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices for lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing regular updates to the executive team.
- Implement a data-driven approach to measure and analyze sales performance metrics.
What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a successful sales leader in the Malaysian manufacturing or automation industry.
- Strong professional network within the Malaysian manufacturing sector.
- In-depth understanding of automation technologies and manufacturing processes in the Malaysian context.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into effective sales strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
