Your new role

• Defining technical requirements of core components of a unified product platform in ensuring simplicity, modularity and reliability towards supporting creation of new service enablement through API and plug&play components.
• Re-architecting existing platforms around core switch, channels of payment, data enablement and participant management in driving towards common standards, scalability and sovereignty that are essential to a national payment infrastructure.
• Driving participants (enablers) adoption of the product towards enabling maximum coverage of issuers and acquirers by designing integration journeys that are seamless and scalable for all payment types.
• Ownership of Secure Internet Connectivity and API driven strategy towards driving participants (enablers) adoption in achieving greater reliability, scalability and future proofing the ecosystem.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience (5 years) as a Product Manager or similar role in the financial services, fintech or payment industry, preferably with exposure to payment products in an operational role.
• Good understanding of payment systems, technologies, and industry standards.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market insights and customer needs.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and in stakeholder management and engagement, with the ability to influence and build relationships at various levels.
