Specialists in the repair of advanced parts for High Pressure Compressors (HPC) and Low Pressure Turbines (LPT) with a portfolio containing all major civil aircraft engine types.
Your new role
- Responsible for process engineering aspects of any related repair component within the product portfolio and support of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
- Introduce and implement new repair processes into the production lines of ASSB
- Create and support Technical Work Instruction (TWI) and other related technical documents
- Perform and supervise commissioning and acceptance of equipment and machinery for ASSB
- Develop detailed process procedures and/or compile the documentation for the individual repair process and efficiently implement the processes
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Aerospace or Material Science or Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years of working experience as a Process Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
- Working experience in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul within an aviation environment is an added advantage
- Able to read technical material, develop analysis and make recommendations
- Detail knowledge of HPC & LPT geometry and drawings
- Good knowledge and experience in machining programming and grinding process preferred
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, quality management and lean principles
- Familiarity with PFMEA and Control Plan
- Understand clearly Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) with respect to tooling
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Good computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
