Established more than a decade ago, this company is a world class manufacturer of fibre optics and glass substrates, constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation. With increasing demand and company expansion, this company is looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join their team.

Your new role

As the Project Manager, you will be the main person in charge of project management of the engineering and automation projects. This includes designing automation systems for new or existing equipment to automate manufacturing processes. You will closely collaborate with internal and external partners to create project plant, and lead the project implementations.

With increasing demand, your role will be crucial to ensure project timeline and manufacturing readiness to support demand ramp up.

What you'll need to succeed

• Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology, Material science) or equivalent
• Understanding of manufacturing processes in optical or semiconductor industry.
• Extensive knowledge in automation.
• Leadership experience
• Proficiency with data analysis, DOE, 6sigma and statistical techniques.
• Deep knowhow in problem solving methods
• More than 10 years experience in the field of automation or process industrialization within the semiconductor or optical industry
