Your new role
Channel Development:
- Identify and onboard new channel partners, including distributors, system integrators, and value-added resellers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to maximise sales opportunities.
- Implement channel programs, incentives, and promotions to drive partner engagement.
Sales Strategy:
- Define channel sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Create and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales approaches.
Partner Enablement:
- Provide training, product knowledge, and sales support to channel partners.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop joint marketing initiatives.
- Ensure partners have the necessary resources to effectively sell the company's solutions.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor channel performance metrics, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and partner satisfaction.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess progress and address challenges.
Market Expansion:
- Identify growth opportunities within existing markets and explore new segments.
- Work closely with the sales team to penetrate key accounts and achieve market share.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with marketing, product management, and technical teams.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5 years’ experience in channel sales, preferably in the technology/security industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- The ability to build and maintain productive relationships with partners.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
