The Opportunity:
Searching for a GM / Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is not only adept at handling the day-to-day operational challenges but also possesses a strategic mindset towards operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the CEO's strategic vision in business planning, marketing, and product development that has set us on a path of significant growth and industry leadership. This role is critical in ensuring our operations are scalable, efficient, and ready for the next stage of our business journey.

Your new role

● Collaborate with the CEO to lead the development and implementation of operational standards, guidelines, policies, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure operational excellence and compliance across the company.
● Directly manage sub-departments reporting to the COO, including but not limited to the Operations Manager (overseeing warehouse, supply chain, and purchasing) and the Retail Operations Manager, as well as the IT Manager. Ensure these departments operate cohesively and align with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
● Drive operational excellence and readiness for expansion by leading initiatives to optimise efficiency, safety, and service, while developing scalable frameworks for future growth, franchising, and potential listing

What you'll need to succeed

● Extensive experience in a COO or equivalent leadership role, with a proven track record in operational excellence and strategic operations management within retail or a related industry.
● Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational standards, policies, and procedures that contribute to the growth and scalability of a business.
● Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the capacity to take a visionary approach to operational efficiency and scalability.
● Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring a team towards excellence and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
