Mask Design Engineer
A renowned semiconductor company seeking design engineers to join their expanding team.
Your new company
Located in Penang, you will be part of the cross functional team is responsible for the design, validation, qualification and release of new products, by developing and verifying mask designs. With increasing demand and company expansion, this company is looking to expand and hire mask layout design engineers to join the team.
Your new role
As a mask design engineer, you will be the technical lead in projects focussing on new product introduction to the market. This includes ensuring that product releases meet manufacturability, reliability, customer and market requirements in collaboration with product management, wafer process, assembly and test, among other responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
- BsC/MsC with minimal 5 years’ Experience in Mask design or physical layout
- Virtuoso XL - Caliber DRC/ERC/LVS verification and debugging tools
- Understanding layout effects on the circuit such as speed, capacitance, power and area etc.,
- Hands-on experience in design of bandgap, amplifier, linear and switched regulator, ADC / DAC, Temp Sensors and Oscillators
- Experience in co-leading or leading analog/mixed-signal/IC design projects
- Must have good communication
