My client is a leading packaging company that has established a manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia. Focusses on producing high-quality packaging solutions for the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, emphasising sustainable manufacturing processes. They are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team to lead projects to continuously improve the quality of their products and processes.

Your new role

• Conduct risk analysis (e.g. FMEAs) and work with relevant stakeholders on risk mitigation activities.

• Identify quality trends and develop processes to improve quality.

• Liaise with customers to address quality concerns

• Provides guidance on best practices in problem-solving, root cause analysis, statistical quality control, and authoring work instructions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering-related field.

• 3 years and above working experience in Quality function.

• Well verse in Microsoft Office, ERP, and Statistica, MiniTab, or related statistical analysis tools.

• Familiar with Total Quality Management (TQM), FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO 9000 concepts, able to perform and lead Kaizens.

• Certification or specialised training in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).

• Experience developing and implementing quality systems/ processes within existing business units.
