My client is a leading packaging company that has established a manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia. Focusses on producing high-quality packaging solutions for the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, emphasising sustainable manufacturing processes. They are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team to lead projects to continuously improve the quality of their products and processes.
Your new role
Conduct risk analysis (e.g. FMEAs) and work with relevant stakeholders on risk mitigation activities.
Identify quality trends and develop processes to improve quality.
Liaise with customers to address quality concerns
Provides guidance on best practices in problem-solving, root cause analysis, statistical quality control, and authoring work instructions.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Engineering-related field.
3 years and above working experience in Quality function.
Well verse in Microsoft Office, ERP, and Statistica, MiniTab, or related statistical analysis tools.
Familiar with Total Quality Management (TQM), FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO 9000 concepts, able to perform and lead Kaizens.
Certification or specialised training in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
Experience developing and implementing quality systems/ processes within existing business units.
