Your new role
This role involves leading the negotiation and finalisation of high-value transactions, developing commercial strategies, and optimising deal structures to maximise business value. It includes identifying and assessing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and enhancing business development tools. The role also requires overseeing market research and feasibility studies to support decision-making, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and transaction management.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience in business development, commercial negotiations, and deal-making. They must possess strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and extensive experience in complex deal structuring and financial negotiations. Proven negotiation skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills in English are essential. Experience in multiple business sectors and the Johor property and industrial development market is advantageous. The role requires the ability to travel to Johor as needed (20%-30%).
