Our client is a refractory manufacturing pioneer that offers a wide range of refractory products designed for various industries. Their product lineup includes Monolithics, Plastics, Mortars, Insulation, Precast Shapes and Special Refractory Grades, designed to meet the needs of industries such as cement, steel, glass, non-ferrous metals, petrochemicals, boilers, foundries, and incinerators. They are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of all raw materials and accessories needed to meet the changing levels of product demand. You will maintain communication with production to coordinate and streamline the production process. You will also manage all inbound and outbound raw mat/finished goods logistics. Additionally, you will work with plant, warehouse, and logistic departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.

What you'll need to succeed

• 7 to 15 years experience managing a production facility, including responsibilities in procurement, production, logistics and plant.

• Proven experience in leading a team of 5 or more.

• Added advantage: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
