This company is an international freight forwarding and logistics group, providing tailored logistical solutions to their customers. Due to an expansion, the company is looking for a Finance Supervisor to join its global business.

Your new role

As the main pillar in the finance team, you will be in charge of:

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis, and develop financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Manage the timely preparation of financial reports in compliance with Malaysian regulations, analyze results, and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with operational teams to offer financial advice, assess business opportunities, and identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement areas.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, support external audits and tax matters, and manage working capital to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Drive process enhancements and efficiency by leveraging ERP systems, improving financial control and reporting capabilities.
• Mentor junior finance staff and promote teamwork to ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience within the Accounting and Finance field, preferable from industries such as Supply Chain, Warehousing & Logistics
• A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Strong management reporting skills, adept at preparing budgeting, forecasts, cash flow projection etc.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate with C-Suite individuals
• Strong communication skills
