Role Overview
The Country Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing team, and expanding the company’s market influence. Collaboration with operations and HR teams will also be a key aspect of the role to ensure efficient resource management and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives, providing market insights and recommendations to headquarters.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
Recruit, train, and mentor a capable sales team, ensuring consistent performance and professional development.
Oversee budget management, financial planning, and sales forecasting to ensure cost-effective operations.
Identify business opportunities, implement customer acquisition strategies, and enhance brand positioning within South Korea.
Ensure operational excellence by resolving challenges, conducting audits, and implementing process improvements.
Requirements:
Minimum seven years of experience in the travel or hotel industry, with a preference for candidates with B2B and DMC expertise.
Demonstrated success in business development, sales planning, and market expansion.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Knowledge of European travel markets is an advantage.
Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies effectively.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Willingness to travel, with approximately 25% rotation required.
