Are you passionate about cybersecurity and fluent in Japanese, and willing to work in Manila? We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join a leading global organisation and play a crucial role in driving post-sales success. This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to engage with customers in both Japanese and English, ensuring seamless communication and enhanced customer experiences.

About the Role:

As a Security Engineer, you’ll work closely with Customer Success Managers and internal teams to build strong relationships and deliver outstanding support to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Becoming a trusted Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Exposure, Cloud, Vulnerability, and Risk Management for global organisations
  • Solving real problems by communicating technical solutions and value propositions to Japanese-speaking customers
  • Collaborating and connecting with internal teams, fostering knowledge sharing and teamwork
  • Driving innovation, influencing product development and shaping customer expectations
  • Educating and engaging customers through tailored webinars and presentations, delivered in Japanese and English

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluency in Japanese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical experience in security-related roles, with a willingness to upskill and adapt to new technologies
  • A team-oriented mindset, with strong collaboration skills
  • A proactive attitude, a self-starter with determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment


While not required, experience in the following areas is a plus:

  • Cloud expertise with platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack
  • Network security knowledge, including familiarity with Nessus and TCP/IP concepts
  • System administration experience with enterprise-class operating systems
  • DevOps skills, including Docker, API scripting, and Python SDK proficiency
  • Understanding of compliance standards like PCI, NIS2, DORA, and CIS
  • Educational background in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience (4+ years)
