Our client is a global pharmaceutical company specialising in high-quality therapeutics and diagnostics solutions. With a strong focus on research and development, they drive innovation to deliver effective medicines and healthcare solutions for serious/chronic health conditions. They are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to strategise and manage the effective utilisation of the overall Indirect Category, through efficient sourcing processes and driving process improvements.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:
- Strategic Sourcing: Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as marketing, HR, and facilities.
- Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Contract Management: Negotiating and managing contracts, including renewals, dispute resolution, and compliance.
- Cost Optimisation: Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the procurement process.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
- Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks associated with the procurement of goods and services.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Preferably have working experience in the Pharmaceuticals/FMCG industry.
Hands-on procurement experience: Sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, supply/demand assessment, supplier selection, and risk management.
Experience in corresponding with regional stakeholders.
