This European engineering company provides various solutions to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Maritime & Infrastructure. Due to an expansion, the company is looking for an Accountant.

Your new role

• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial reports during month-end and year-end closing, submitting them within the assigned timeline from HQ.

• Prepare various month-end reports, including the Monthly Management Account, Group Reporting to HQ, Inventory/Obsolete

• Stock Reports, Cashflow Report, Consolidated & Plant Reports, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Tax & Deferred Tax Computation.

• Collaborate with departments to analyse plant absorption and conduct in-depth analysis.

• Oversee and ensure accuracy in product costing and transfer pricing published to the Group.

• Advise the Engineering team on correct reflexion of product costing and pricing in the ERP.

• Review and verify all supplier payments before submission for approval by FM & MD.

• Review and check all transactions before posting to the ledger.

• Handle queries from external parties such as auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and bankers.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role, you must possess

• A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance, with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW is an added advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably from Manufacturing or Engineering companies
• Previous experience in the audit field is an added advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
