This organisation is a fast-growing financial institution which strives to deliver the best experience for its customers. They offer multiple products and are currently looking for a Non-Traded Risk Professional to join the fast-growing team.

Your new role

This Non-Traded Risk role is responsible for strengthening non-traded market risk management across a financial group. Key duties included developing and enhancing risk policies, overseeing liquidity and rate of return risk, and ensuring timely, accurate risk reporting to senior committees.

The role also involved regulatory compliance, new product assessments, and continuous improvement of risk tools and methodologies. Additionally, the individual provided leadership to the risk team and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to support audits and strategic initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

To ensure your success in this role, you will possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, accounting, actuarial science, finance or a related discipline

• More than 5 years of experience managing Non-Traded / Liquidity Risk in the banking industry

• Understanding of complex risk issues, strong analytical skills, decision-making power, resilience, and a sense of responsibility

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also a great team player
