IT Infrastructure Engineer – Build, Secure & Optimize at a World-Class Company! (1-year renewable contract)
Your New Company: -
This company is a global manufacturing company based in Petaling Jaya, a leader in fast-moving consumer goods, driving innovation and excellence in production and distribution.
Your New Role: -
- Handle end-user hardware installation and distribution. Managed incident resolution, troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues.
- Perform basic diagnostics and hardware repairs for PCs and troubleshoot system issues.
- Provide on-site incident management for video-conferencing meetings, handling setup, testing, and real-time assistance and provide support for server room maintenance tasks.
- Conduct proactive health checks for network and computer room infrastructure.
- Provide network infrastructure support, including installation, configuration, diagnostics and coordination with the local network provider.
What You’ll Need to Succeed: -
- Require at least 3 years of experience in IT Infrastructure support or IT service management.
- Must be fluent in English, with strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Possess strong technical expertise in core IT components, including PC builds, Windows OS, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Edge; Familiarity with IDS/IPS, sandboxing, and network traffic analysis.
- Possess the ability to assist users with a variety of smartphones, tablets, and meeting room technologies.
- Demonstrate basic skills in network technologies, including IP configurations, network printing, internet access, and Windows server management.
- Understanding of ITIL processes or ITIL certification is an added point.
