A world market leader in the chemical manufacturing industry with an internationally renowned Shared Service Centre (SSC) based in Kuala Lumpur. Due to rapid expansion, they are looking for an AI Analytics Specialist to be part of the team that is responsible for running all related functions across the APAC region and globally.

Your new role

• Develop AI functionality within the Supply Chain (Customs) domain

• Design and implement Information System(IS) tools and systems to ensure AI-supported customs processes and improve data connectivity for Foreign Trade Operations requirements.

• Support IT enquiries and AI projects related to Customs by translating business objectives into functional requirements and user stories, while also supporting the technical specifications and their evaluation.
• Create transparency and clarity around customs data through the use of data products and AI models.
• Work closely with the expert team to identify AI improvement needs and change requirements, and initiate small measures of projects to increase AI effectiveness for operations teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Possess analytical thinking, data science knowledge, machine learning capability, ability to provide data-driven solutions and lead with key performance indicators
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: SAP R/3 and SAP GTS, Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power App
• Strong customer focus and passion for process improvement and AI transformation
• Able to communicate fluently in English
