Your new company

A world market leader in the chemical manufacturing industry with an internationally renowned Shared Service Centre (SSC) based in Kuala Lumpur. Due to rapid expansion, they are looking for a Scrum Master to be part of the team that is responsible for running all related functions across the APAC region and globally.

Your new role

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
• Coach and mentor the team on Agile principles, values, and practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization.
• Remove obstacles or blockers that hinder the squad’s progress and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to align priorities, dependencies, and expectations.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team and across stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals and progress.
• Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity and burndown charts) to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and organisation, implementing Agile best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development projects, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework, with practical experience implementing Agile methodologies.
• Have exposure to Azure AD B2C
