Your new role
- Provides direction and oversight for all application and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory timelines, and optimal resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, fostering a high-performance culture through clear expectations, regular feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant delivery, while maintaining updated project documentation and reporting key risks to IT Management.
- Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication of project goals, progress, risks, and issues, and build strong relationships with senior executives, department heads, and external vendors.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 8+ years in project management, including at least 3 years in leadership or portfolio management roles.
- Proven experience in managing complex enterprise projects within banking or financial services, with a solid understanding of banking processes, compliance requirements, and technology landscapes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and grow teams of project managers, effectively balancing competing priorities in a multi-project environment.
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, along with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Smartsheet, and ServiceNow.
