One of the largest oil and gas companies is looking to hire a market pricing and intelligence head.

Your new company

One of the largest oil companies globally currently based in Johor is currently looking to hire a Head of Market Intelligence and Pricing to plan for market analysis to support production planning and budgeting.

Your new role

  • Provide the latest market insight to management and stakeholders through regular engagement with consultants and analysing market reports
  • Market research and/or pricing models to support production planning, economic assessment, contract execution, business planning and budgeting.
  • Provide inputs on applicable premiums or discounts for products with no established price in the market by reviewing and analysing sources of data/price consultants
  • Prepare and undertake price and price-related studies to acquire a deeper understanding of the drivers, trends and events by analysing and evaluating current trends and market dynamics.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in market insights dealing with stakeholders
  • Exposure to research and consulting.
  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum engineering or other related fields with a minimum of 10 years' experience (preferably in the oil & gas industry).
  • Flexible in relocating
