A leading financial services organisation is seeking an excellent principal product manager who will be responsible and accountable for one or more IT product solutions that support and influence business objectives and goals for the business stakeholders within the business, which requires you to manage, communicate and influencing the product life cycle & delivery with multiple stakeholders (IT, third party vendors, business senior leadership team) while aligning to overall company objectives.

Your new role

As a Principal Product Manager, you will manage and ensure the success of the products to support your business strategy, which includes planning the IT product roadmap in line with overall business strategies with the aim of releasing high-quality and innovative products, features and enhancements. You must have good organisational ability, be able to multitask within a complex environment and have good people skills.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, computer science, or other related degree.
• Min. 8 years’ professional experience within web, app or technical product management.
• Preferably 5 years of working experience in the insurance industry in the areas of Service or Servicing.
• Proficient with the latest innovation in digital and able to transition a vision or an idea into reality within current limitations. Must be able to work hands-on.
• Understanding of the product management lifecycle and of web/application standard processes.
• Able to coordinate, prioritise and lead multiple projects and team members.
• Understanding of a variety of methodologies from Agile to Waterfall, and of common software development practices.
