Your new role
As the Trial Capabilities Senior Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 10 professionals across the APAC region, supporting clinical trial operations with a focus on site payments and invoice management. You’ll provide strategic direction and technical guidance to Trial Capabilities Associates and Specialists, ensuring efficient trial initiation, site activation, and maintenance. Your leadership will be key in maintaining inspection readiness through a complete and accurate Trial Master File (TMF), while driving operational excellence and compliance across all trial activities.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading trial initiation and site activation efforts across development programs.
  • Overseeing site payments and invoice processing across APAC.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, data privacy, and quality standards.
  • Managing communications and serving as the point of contact for trial capabilities deliverables.
  • Driving inspection readiness and regulatory compliance through effective use of clinical trial systems.
  • Responding to audits and inspections with appropriate corrective actions.
  • Promoting shared learning, process improvement, and technological innovation within the team.
  • Potential future scope includes budget negotiation responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or health-related field.
  • At least 5 years of clinical research or relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical development and site initiation processes.
  • Experience in clinical trial payments, budgeting, or SAP is helpful but not required.
  • Candidates with strong people leadership skills and clinical research experience—even without direct payment/budget experience—are encouraged to apply.
  • High proficiency in computer systems and clinical trial platforms.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • A commitment to compliance, continuous improvement, and team development.
