Your new role

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities using tools like Nessus and Qualys to ensure platform compliance.

• Manage and support security solutions including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) with Microsoft Defender, and SIEM platforms such as Splunk.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain hardening standards for Windows and Linux systems.

• Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.

• Provide technical guidance to junior cybersecurity personnel and contribute to continuous improvement of security controls and practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) and remediation processes.

• Proficiency in managing Splunk for log analysis, alert tuning, and incident detection.

• Practical knowledge of WAF and EDR solutions, especially Microsoft Defender.

• Strong understanding of system hardening for Windows and Linux.
