One of the top electrical technology companies is actively looking to hire a government relations manager.
Your new role
Managing, coordinating and following up with relevant government authorities to obtain approvals for permits, new applications and licence renewals.
Planning end-to-end media relations and external press releases.
Liaising with external parties regarding corporate information, communication and other general matters.
Maintaining all legal and permit-related office documents.
Planning, preparing, and coordinating with government agencies to ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
Serving as a liaison between customers, visitors, government entities, and local authorities.
Establish and maintain relationships with competent authorities, Ministry and Government
Regular dealing with external parties and government officers with regard to corporate info, communication or any other general duties
What you'll need to succeed
8 years of government relations experience with strong fundamental corporate communications within the external network.
Experience with government agencies and Electrical & Electronics industries is a plus.
Skilled in time management, task management, and working under pressure, both independently and in a team.
Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Communications or other related field
Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Mandarin is an added advantage.
