My client is an MNC Medical Device company and is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Manag er to lead and expand our operations in Malaysia. This role is pivotal in shaping commercial strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring sustainable growth in a competitive market.
Your new role
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Lead sales, marketing, and operational initiatives across product portfolios.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to align local strategies with corporate goals.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure financial health.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and regulatory bodies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business and sales management in the medical device/pharmaceutical space
- People Management skills (a minimum of 3 headcounts)
- Proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and commercial execution.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural environment.
