Your new company

You will be joining as Head of HR Services (SSC) with a well-established, public-listed Malaysian conglomerate in the heavy industry sector. With a strong market presence and a reputation for growth and innovation, the group is expanding and looking for driven talent to be part of its dynamic and forward-thinking team.

Your new role

You will lead the Group People Shared Services function, overseeing payroll, benefits, HRIS, and employee data. You'll manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal movements, performance management, and offboarding. Working closely with People Partners and Centres of Excellence (CoEs), you'll ensure service delivery aligns with business needs. You'll drive process optimisation, automation, and service improvements, while monitoring SLAs and KPIs to implement corrective actions when needed. You'll also support HR transformation and change initiatives, act as an escalation point for complex HR service issues, and collaborate with IT and vendors to maintain system and data integrity.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you must be:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in HR functions.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and partner with CoE and cross-functional teams
• Track record in process optimisation, automation, and HR service delivery
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach and build high-performing teams
