You will be joining one of the leading financial institutions in Malaysia. Their IT department plays a central role in driving the bank's digital transformation and innovation efforts. They are currently looking for a Head of IT Knowledge Management to join the team in KL.

Your new role

Your new role is to enable repositories to ensure technology knowledge is captured, used and updated. This is to ensure immediate support is able to be provided to resolve incidents, especially in the Tier-1 ecosystem as part of BNM RMIT requirements.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement an IT roadmap for knowledge management excellence, including setting targets and building capabilities in people, processes, and technology.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align IT knowledge strategies with broader organisational learning goals.

• Framework & Model Improvement: Continuously refine the operating IT model and framework.

• Culture Building: Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across all levels.

• Technology Oversight: Ensure knowledge tools are functional and properly used.

• Knowledge Capture: Facilitate the creation and use of a knowledge base.

• Analytics & Monitoring: Track progress and impact using data-driven insights.

• Training & Support: Provide coaching and training to foster a knowledge-sharing culture, within the team and outside the team

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 8 years in an IT Infrastructure role covering ITSM, Server, Network, Data Centre etc.

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, focusing on managing a team of more than 5 headcounts

• Familiarity with banking/financial tech environments.

• Experience in application/infrastructure delivery and support.

• Proficiency in metadata usage, Jira, and Confluence.

• Obtained ITIL and/or PMP certificate
