Your new company

You will be joining one of the Malaysian life insurance companies that has been established for more than 50+ years. They offer a wide range of life and health insurance products to cover the needs of customers. They are currently looking for a Senior Manager, IT Operations, to be based in their office in Klang Valley.

Your new role

• You will lead, mentor, and support the IT Technology & Operations team.
• You will design infrastructure architecture aligned with business strategy.
• You will identify and implement technology solutions to support business needs.
• You will manage IT assets, budgets, and technology refresh programs.
• You will ensure data security and regulatory compliance.
• You will assess and manage IT risks and architecture.
• You will oversee project delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• You will maintain smooth IT operations and meet SLA targets.
• You will optimise infrastructure systems for performance and security.
• You will evaluate, source, and deliver effective IT solutions.
• You will develop and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and KPIs.
• You will manage vendors and contracts and ensure they are delivered as per SLA.
• You will support digital transformation initiatives and integration.
• You will lead disaster recovery planning and execution.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and delivering IT Infrastructure and Technology
• Minimum of 3 years leading a team of more than 5 people
• Has experience in FS Industry - Insurance, Banking or Fintech
• Proven experience of managing data centre operations, managing large IT Projects and IT Budgets
