Your new role

Strategic Pricing and Bid Analysis: Lead in-depth evaluations of tender opportunities, including market trends, competitor positioning, and pricing strategies to craft compelling proposals.
Contract Structuring & Negotiation: Partner with legal and sales teams to negotiate terms that balance profitability with compliance and risk mitigation.
Risk & Financial Assessment: Identify and assess commercial risks, ensuring robust mitigation plans are in place to safeguard business interests.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance bid success and long-term partnerships.
Performance Tracking: Monitor post-award contract performance, analyzing key metrics to identify areas for improvement or renegotiation.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of bid activities and generate insights for senior management on market dynamics and bid performance.

What you'll need to succeed

A Bachelor's or Master’s degree
Proven experience in tendering or commercial negotiations, ideally within government or public sector contracts.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy development, profitability analysis, and contract negotiation.
Familiarity with financial metrics such as ROI, NPV, and gross margin.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
