Your new company

A well-established organisation in the FMCG industry with a long-standing presence in the market. Known for its commitment to quality and efficiency, it manufacturers a variety of different product ranges within the industry. They are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the organisation forward.

Your new role

• Lead and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity across multiple manufacturing plants, covering different product segments. This includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth production flows, and driving timely delivery of products.

• Manage manpower planning and allocation based on operational demands, ensuring optimal staffing levels and resource utilisation to meet production targets.

• Ensure all plants operate in full compliance with relevant regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, BRC, Halal, SMETA, and safety protocols. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and product quality throughout the production environment.

• Drive plant improvement initiatives to support ongoing operational excellence. Oversee machinery maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

• Lead and develop a team of managers and production staff to achieve operational goals. Uphold company policies related to plant operations and authorisation structures, while also handling ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent

• More than 10 years of experience in a similar capacity and more than 15 years of experience in the FMCG manufacturing industry.

• Strong stakeholder management both internally and externally with exceptional communication skills.

• Strong leadership experience to manage a sizeable headcount with senior direct reports.
