Global Business Support - Japanese

Business development and Account management role for Japanese speaker.
Our client, a leading international company in the logistics and operations sector, is seeking a highly motivated and bilingual professional to join their team as Global Business Support. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong command of Japanese and English, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving business growth across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse market trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and adapt service offerings to meet the needs of a multicultural client base, with a focus on Japanese accounts.
  • Manage and grow existing business relationships to maximise revenue.
  • Meet and exceed annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Prepare and present sales reports; identify and pursue new business leads.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to resolve shipment-related issues.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments in accordance with company policies.
  • Support management with ad-hoc assignments as required.

Performance Expectations:

  • Build and maintain a database of at least 20 potential Japanese clients monthly.
  • Achieve a minimum 10% increase in budgeted revenue on a quarterly basis.
  • Conduct a minimum of two customer visits per day to strengthen client engagement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fluent proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.
