The Marketing and Communication Manager leads the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and support business goals across Southeast Asia. Reporting to the Country Leader/CEO and working under the Corporate CMO’s guidance, the role oversees content creation, public relations, and integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels. It involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, adapting global strategies to local markets, managing events and product launches, and ensuring consistent messaging. The manager also analyzes market trends and performance metrics, maintains brand compliance, and continuously updates leadership on progress and new opportunities.
Your new role
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute localised marketing strategies aligned with global objectives, including setting KPIs and analysing market trends.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure marketing plans support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Internal & External Branding
- Lead local campaigns and branding initiatives in line with global guidelines, ensuring consistent brand experience across Southeast Asia.
- Manage marketing dashboards and collaborate with HR on internal and employer branding strategies.
Event Management
- Plan and execute trade shows, product launches, and corporate events, managing logistics, budgets, and vendor coordination.
- Align event activities with sales goals, track performance, and optimise lead generation efforts.
Digital Marketing
- Drive digital strategies including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing tailored to Southeast Asia.
- Use analytics to optimise campaigns, enhance engagement, and assess performance against KPIs.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with HQ teams, SEA leadership, external agencies, and media partners.
- Align marketing initiatives with corporate goals through effective collaboration and contract management.
Internal & External Communications
- Develop internal communication plans to foster a positive culture and manage external messaging through press releases and media relations.
- Oversee crisis communication and maintain a strong public image.
Product Marketing
- Partner with Sales and Technical teams to enhance product value and execute targeted marketing initiatives.
- Support product launches through events, advertising, and digital channels.
Budgeting & Financial Management
- Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and strong ROI.
- Report monthly performance under Country Leadership supervision.
What you'll need to succeed
Undergraduate degree in Marketing/Business Management/Communications or related field
Minimum of 5 years and above of experience in B2B market management, including developing B2B marketing plans and campaigns and measuring marketing performance.
Required language(s): Fluent in written and spoken English
Experience working in Southeast Asia will be highly considered.
Strong event management skills with excellent attention to detail
Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing communication strategies across Southeast Asia that align with business objectives
