A well-established and growing organisation with multiple entities across various sectors, committed to financial excellence and operational transparency. Located in Pulau Indah, Klang, the company is seeking a dedicated Group Accountant to strengthen its finance team and support strategic growth.

Your new role

• Oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Treasury, and Banking.
• Review and manage general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closings and reporting.
• Prepare and deliver monthly management reports, financial statements, and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead the consolidation of quarterly and annual group financial statements, including Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper reconciliation and compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
• Assist in tax planning and compliance, including coordination with tax agents.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data and processes.
• Support internal and external audit processes and ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance function.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as MIA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA, MICPA, or ICAEW.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in MFRS and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in Pulau Indah, Klang
