Your new role

As a Trade Surveillance Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a key role in supporting the organisations U.S. Compliance team during after-hours operations. You’ll be responsible for monitoring system-generated alerts for potential market abuse or trading anomalies, reviewing trading activity, and escalating issues with onshore compliance officers. You’ll also document investigative steps and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance surveillance protocols and ensure regulatory standards are upheld.

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related analytical field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services, compliance, operations, or a related support role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a strong sense of integrity
• Preferred: Familiarity with trade surveillance platforms, U.S. equity markets, and FINRA/SEC regulations
