Your new role

• Design, develop, and implement security tools, automation solutions, and scalable systems.

• Lead programming and system development initiatives to address security and operational challenges.

• Conduct research on emerging technologies such as AI-driven threat detection, cryptography, and next-generation security frameworks.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and develop mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with internal teams, academia, and industry partners to co-develop innovative solutions.

• Benchmark technologies and adopt best practices to enhance security capabilities.

• Drive R&D projects, manage timelines, and ensure quality deliverables.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the department.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, cybersecurity, or related technical roles.

• Strong programming skills and experience in developing tools and systems.

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.

• Knowledge of network security, threat intelligence, and vulnerability assessment.

• Familiarity with AI/ML, automation, and emerging security technologies is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently.

• Willingness to work on-site in Cyberjaya.
