Your New Role
  • Implementing and maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, Cisco ECDN, Cisco WAAS, load balancers, MPLS, VPN, and ACI technologies.
  • Providing critical support during outages, offering guidance and technical expertise to Level 1 and Level 2 teams.
  • Utilising ITSM tools to manage incidents, changes, and assets efficiently.
  • Deploying and managing firewalls, including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, ASA 55xx series, FTD, and Panorama, as well as leading network migrations for firewalls and load balancers.
  • Implementing and managing cloud-based network solutions across AWS and Azure platforms.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in LAN/WAN routing and switching, including Cisco routers, switches, Nexus, ACI, and multivendor environments.
  • Strong expertise in wireless technologies, load balancers, software-defined networking (SDN), and a broad range of network solutions.
  • Practical experience with wireless bridging techniques such as Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP), along with familiarity with wireless standards (802.11 d/e/g/h/j/n/s).
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Asset Management, and a solid understanding of SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are preferred.
