Regional Application Engineer (Automation)

Application Engineer (SEA) with a Global Automation Leader based in Penang/Klang Valley.

Your new company

Our client is a globally recognised name in industrial automation, known for delivering cutting-edge solutions in material handling & automation systems. With a strong footprint across multiple regions, they support a wide range of industries including electronics, automotive, and life sciences.

Your new role

You will be the key technical expert in delivering technical support, customer guidance and tailored solutions for pneumatics, robotic handling and feeding units across the Region.
Other key responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to design and propose effective solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, on-site training, and documentation
  • Engage with regional stakeholders and customers to support cross-border project requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 5–7 years of experience in application engineering and technical solutions
  • Strong hands-on expertise in feeding systems, electric handling and pneumatic valve integration, including linear motors
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently
