Your new role
You will take charge of hardware redesign projects by identifying substitute components for parts that have reached end-of-life, ensuring minimal disruption to system functionality. Leveraging CAD tools such as Mentor Graphics, you will perform simulations, verification, and debugging to guarantee design reliability throughout validation and production phases. Your responsibilities will also include conducting failure analysis, applying DFM (Design for Manufacturability) insights, and creating proof-of-concept designs to support engineering proposals. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior engineers, maintain detailed project documentation, and develop tools and training content to assist manufacturing teams during product rollout.
