Regional MA & Upstream Marketing Specialist

They are now looking for an upstream marketing specialist who is familiar with ophthalmology or optometry practice to join their regional medical affairs (MA) & upstream marketing team in Selangor.

Your new role

As an upstream marketing specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping technologies that empower eye care providers with smarter, more integrated diagnostic solutions. You will handle key opinion leader (KOL) coordination, negotiate renewal of T&C of distributor agreements, and analyse existing and potential distributors. Your role includes conducting and leading periodical meetings with KOLs to monitor the progress status of deliverables, hosting periodical supplier meetings, and establishing KOL management budget.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Medical degree in ophthalmology or degree in optometry
  • Very strong in communication and negotiation
  • Experience in managing KOLs within the relevant industry
