An internationally recognized industrial technology firm located in Perai is looking for a Senior R&D/Product Development Engineer to join its Data and Devices team. Your new role

In this role, you will lead the development of advanced antenna system solutions, driving innovation from concept to production. You’ll be responsible for designing, simulating, and validating antenna systems using both computer modeling and experimental techniques. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the technical roadmap of the business unit. Your work will directly influence product decisions and customer relationships, ensuring timely delivery of cost-effective, high-performance solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

• M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in antenna design, including 2 years in RF circuit design
• Expertise in 3D EM simulation software (HFSS or CST) and RF circuit tools (ADS or AWR)
• Hands-on experience with antenna testing tools such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chambers
• Strong understanding of electromagnetics, antenna theory, and wireless protocols (LTE, GNSS, Wi-Fi, BT, NFC, UWB, mm-Wave)
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset
