My client is a global manufacturing company based in Batang Kali (Selangor). They are currently hiring a Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations for its newly established plant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, support facility readiness, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a growing production environment.

Your new role

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and ensure timely repair of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, DCS, and Simatic systems.

• Handle installation, relocation, and upgrades of equipment, supporting both mechanical and electrical enhancements.

• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.

• Accurately document maintenance activities, wire control panels, test and calibrate sensors, and integrate systems following technical drawings and codes.

  What you'll need to succeed

• At least 7 years of working experience with primary duties involving electrical control.

• A valid AO Chargeman Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga or an A4 certificate is a MUST.

• Experience working with electrical distribution and control systems up to 440 VAC, 3PH. Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying PLC-based control systems.

• Experience in troubleshooting and applying pneumatic valves, actuators (pneumatic and electric), sensors (thermocouples, pressure transducers, etc), electric motors, and other typical automation components.
