Your new company

You will be joining a multinational consumer brand under their growing shared services centre based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Your office is highly accessible by public transport.

Your new role

You will be one of the pioneer members to help establish the supply chain operations to support the Japan market while being based at the shared services centre in Malaysia. Examples of your responsibilities include:

• Establishing and improving supply chain SOPs
• Optimising the use of existing systems and/or exploring better alternatives
• Communicating closely with Japanese manufacturing partners etc.
• Managing inventory and service targets for a portfolio of external manufacturing partners.
• Developing and executing production plans.
• Collaborating across teams to ensure timely supply and resolving disruptions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Resourcefulness, creativity, adaptability
• At least business proficiency in Japanese language
• Ideally, more than 3 years of related experience (supply chain / material planning / procurement etc.) but candidates with lesser experience are welcome to apply!
