My client is a well‑established multinational manufacturer with a strong presence across Asia and Europe, recognised for its high standards in product quality, sustainability, and continuous innovation. With a strong emphasis on operational excellence, they are now looking for a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer experienced in Siemens PLC Programming, HMI development, and SCADA system to join their plant based in Johor. The Senior E&I Engineer is responsible for guiding the technical direction of power, control, and automation functions within an industrial environment, ensuring all operational systems function reliably and adhere to required regulations and performance expectations.

Your new role

• Managed end‑to‑end E&I engineering projects, including planning, documentation, installation oversight, and commissioning.

• Ensured reliable system performance through maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance programs, and calibration management.

• Drove energy efficiency improvements through usage analysis and organization‑wide initiatives.

• Coordinated with cross‑functional teams to support operations and minimise downtime through spare‑parts readiness.

• Trained and mentored plant personnel, engineers, and technicians to strengthen technical capability.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation/ Control Engineering or equivalent.

• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens), HMI development, and SCADA systems.

• Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing environment, experience in Food Manufacturing is a BIG PLUS.
