ESH manager role for a global electronics manufacturer based in Selangor

Your new company

You’ll be joining an established global electronics manufacturer with a strong presence in Malaysia. The organisation is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) across its operations and is investing in strengthening its EHS leadership as part of its continued growth.

Your new role

As the ESH Section Head, you will oversee and drive the entire EHS function within the plant. Your remit includes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and certifications, while embedding a culture of safety throughout the organisation.
You will lead the EHS team, liaise with regulatory bodies on compliance matters, oversee audits, and guide the organisation in achieving internal EHS goals. You will also coordinate incident and accident investigations, conduct regular site inspections, develop training programmes, and ensure all EHS procedures and policies remain up to date.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you'll need to have:

  • A valid Green Book certification.
  • Solid track record in EHS within a manufacturing plant environment, preferably within the E&E sector
  • Experience managing scheduled waste or e‑waste programmes
  • Mandarin proficiency to liaise with global counterparts and stakeholders
