Due to their continued growth efforts, they are looking for an Electrical Failure Analysis engineer to join their team in Kulim.

Your new role

• Conduct electrical verification, fault isolation, and physical root cause analysis for complex semiconductor devices.
• Prepare detailed FA reports that guide corrective actions across engineering, design, test, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead and present FA findings in cross‑functional meetings, yield improvement task forces, and urgent engineering forums.
• Own and maintain key FA equipment, ensuring tool readiness, capability, and productivity.
• Work closely with designers, test engineers, product engineers, process integration teams, and unit process specialists to understand FA requirements and drive resolution.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you'll need to have:

• Strong experience in electrical failure verification and localisation, including scan logic, high‑level tester diagnostics, and SDL analysis.
• Hands on expertise in sample preparation techniques such as mechanical polishing, precision cleaving, chemical processes, backside prep, and package deconstruction.
• Ability to navigate CAD layouts, map schematics, and perform logic‑level diagnosis using micro‑probing techniques such as A‑pad, FIB pad, or AFP probing.
