Your new role
As an APAC Import & Export Operations Executive/Senior Executive, you will support the execution of import and export shipments across the region, ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate movement of chemical products. You will coordinate closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to support maritime and cross-border operations. You will manage day-to-day coordination with carriers, forwarders, and tank container operators, ensuring proper documentation, trade compliance, and adherence to global logistics standards. You will also support issue resolution, shipment tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives across APAC.
What you'll need to succeed
- Handle end‑to‑end air freight and sea freight shipments across APAC, from order handover, booking, cargo movement, through to final delivery.
- Work directly with customers and internal teams to share shipment updates, answer questions, and follow up on daily operational matters.
- Arrange and confirm shipment bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and freight forwarders, including schedule checks and transport coordination.
- Prepare, review, and check import and export documents, and work with agents and brokers to support customs clearance and release.
- Follow up closely on shipment delays, documentation issues, and customer cases, coordinating actions with vendors until issues are resolved.
- Track shipment progress, maintain basic shipment records, and provide regular updates to customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
