Your new role
In this role, you will lead all maintenance, facilities, utilities and asset management activities to ensure safe, reliable and cost‑effective plant operations. You will develop and execute robust preventive and predictive maintenance programmes, minimise unplanned downtime, and optimise equipment performance across the site.
You will oversee utilities and facility infrastructure, manage maintenance budgets and spare parts strategy, ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, and lead cross‑functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, EHS and external contractors. This role also plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, energy optimisation and long‑term facility upgrades to support business growth.
What you'll need to succeed
- Track record and experience in a maintenance engineering position for the automotive industry or metal-related environments
- Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance (DOSH, DOE, Bomba, Energy Commission)
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost optimisation and asset lifecycle planning
